Anybody remember my Journal Entry where I said I was working on a crochet project?
....No?
Well, here it is. Finally completed.
This was my very first actual crochet project.
It's a little rough here and there, and a lot of the bits are off center and not quite sewn on right, but for being my first project, I'd say I did a pretty good job.
And yes, that's actually me holding it, so now you peeps actually know what I look like.
Anyway, the only crocheting I've done before this was the mound of practice swatches I made during the learning process, during which I used an entire skein of pretty, multi-colored yarn.
I decided on a Companion Cube for my first project because a cube is a relatively easy shape to work with, and the instructions for the little detail bits were pretty easy to follow.
Also I've always wanted my very own Companion Cube. ^_^
....Although I think now I'll have to fight Boober for it, cuz he seems to have taken a liking to it. ¬_¬
The first three pictures were taken using my iMac's built-in webcam and a little app called PhotoBooth.
The fourth image at the bottom was taken by my husband on his Pantech Reveal, which takes much better pictures than my 1st gen RAZR.
