Crochet Topside-Themed Hat

I think Topside took offense to me paying so much attention to Mac lately, so he bit my head and made me crochet this hat designed to look like his rainbow vest. (seen here and here)

And with that beak of his, he bites really hard. >_>

He was nomming on my head the entire time I was making this. Quite annoying.

Anyway, this was crocheted using this pattern as the base, using a size H hook and bringing together yarn in all nine of the colors that make up Topside's vest.

This took me a day and a half to make. Super easy and super comfy. :3

The only color I'm not completely satisfied with is the teal stripe. It's too dark for my liking.
Other than that it came out perfect!
And the dark teal still works with the other colors, so it's really not that big a deal. It just doesn't exactly match my image of what Topside's vest looks like.

At any rate, it got Topside to stop nomming my brain.
