An older Inspector Zenigata holding a newly-hatched Lupin IV. (later known to his friends as "Wolf")

"Where's Lupin III?" you may be asking. Where's this kid's dad? Well, long story short, Lupin let himself get put away and left poor Pops holding the egg.
There's a big, long, convoluted story to all this and there's reasons for it, most of it involving Fujiko (who flew the coop completely after laying the egg, leaving it with Lupin).
BUT, it would take way too long to explain it all, so let's just leave it at "Fujiko and Lupin are really crappy parents, and Pops winds up having to raise their son for them."

I've been wanting to make a new full-colored thing for a while.
Something emotional and related to Gold Demona. (This takes place a LONG time after the events of the fic, which is why Pops has the salt 'n pepper look goin' there)

Problem was that none of my recent drawings really have any "oomph" to them. I could maybe color my drawing of Badou, but he's just standing there... Not really doing much.

So I dug through some of my folders and found a nice little iscribble doodle that *acidaran made back when we still regularly hung out in iscribble.
Basically what I did here was similar to how I used this to make this.)
Unfortunately, she doesn't have the original doodle posted in her gallery, so what I'm gonna do is ~~make a compilation on the process I used to make this and post it up tomorrow~~ post a link to it below.

Manga Lupin would be non-existant for sure. As far as the anime goes, if Fujiko was the mother I can see her settling down and taking care of the child and Lupin dropping in once in a blue moon to check up on the kid only because he could never giving up his life of theivery. Whenever he is with his son/daughter he would be a good parent.

Yeah, I could definitely see that. Depending on which version of anime Fujiko we're dealing with.
For this particular canon, I'm going with the "evil conniving Fujiko" that's got a whole agenda plotted out.

Lupin probably would be a good father if he didn't have to constantly be on the run from Pops. (which is a small part of why this happened)

Especially since at this point in my canon, Jigen and Goemon are already long-since settled down with clans of their own and busy raising their own kids, so Lupin's all by himself here.

So he figures it'd be best to leave his son in Zenigata's trusty talons whilst he tries to piece together Fujiko's ultimate plot.
