Sketchy Philo and Gunge by Whimsy-Floof Sketchy Philo and Gunge by Whimsy-Floof
This is one of four sketches I actually finished two days ago, but I've been spending the past couple of days trying to negotiate with my scanner's software.
*shakes fist at Hewlett-Packard* :shakefist:

But thanks to my good friend, Vaala, and her dad's awesome technical know-how and support, I was able to get some scans in using the default scan wizard provided by Windows that I didn't even know existed. :P

Anyway, here's the first of the four.
Requested by Miss ~Amara-Anon, this here's a sketch of Philo and Gunge from Fraggle Rock.
Originally, she requested Large Marvin and Feanie, but unfortunately, there's not a lot of reference material for these two Fraggles on the internet, and I do not yet posess the DVDs that contain the episodes these two are primarily seen in. (The final season, of course)

BUT anyway, she switched her request to Philo and Gunge, and they're in most of the episodes.
Well, I mulled these two around in my head, trying to think of how I could draw them together.
After many many images in my head of them sharing something they may have found in the mound of garbage and cosmic wisdom they call Marjorie, I wound up with this....
.....Them fighting over an old ratty lampshade. XD
Philo growls at Gunge, who claims that it's his. =P
Interaction with props! Yay~!

Props are hard. Especially with more than one character involved. :O_o:
I think I did alright, tho.
Could be better IMO, but it definitely could've been worse. :P

This is one of a series of sketches I'm doing to better my ability as an artist.
For all details and links to the other sketches I've done so far, please refer to this journal entry. [link]
Don't see many drawings of Philo and Gunge. You did a great job drawing them too.
I love it! Thank you so much! It sums up Philo and Gunge's character perfectly. I love the facial expressions. I think you did a great job translating them from puppets to cartoons. Thanks again! :D
